What to expect?

When are church services?

Sunday school begins at 9:30a.m. and ends at 10:30a.m. Morning worship service is about an hour long beginning at 11:00a.m. until around 12:00p.m. Wednesday night adult life classes and  children/youth activities occur between 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. Choir practice occurs at 7:20p.m. until approximately 8:30p.m.

How should I dress?

At Dorsett Shoals, you are welcome to come as you are.

What are services like?

Sunday worship services include Biblical preaching and a mix of traditional hymns, as well as contemporary music. During this time, children’s church and extended care are available for younger children.  *All children/youth/nursery workers have completed background checks.

What should I do once I arrive?

Guest parking is located at the front of the church. A greeter will be ready to meet you at any entrance and show you where to go from there.

What about my kids?

Dorsett Shoals is concerned about your family’s spirituality, but also your safety. Each of our workers are required to pass a background check. We have a well-kept playground and a clean facility with engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching activities. On Wednesday evenings, we offer Girls In Action (GA’s) and Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) programs for 1st-5th graders.  Music and Missions followed by Mission Friends are offered for ages 3-5 years old. Our Student Ministry begins with 6th grade and continues through college age.
